2018 Wormsoakers Fishing Derby
This year was there were 16 Muskies caught and released from a total of 66 fishermen at Lake Namakagon Wisconsin. Of the 16 Muskys caught, 8 were over 40" in length. The weather was a bit challenging for some, temperatures in the morning were in the mid 20's with snow and Northwest winds 15 to 20 mph on Friday with whitecaps on the lake. Some decided to sleep in, only the heartiest ventured out into these challenging conditions. Wormsoakers group has come to Lakewoods Resort for 21 of the last 26 years to fish the second weekend of October .
