Wormsoakers is a group of fishermen who believe in "Catch and Release" and obeying all rules and regulations to foster a positive fishing experience for generations to come. Every year a group of friends gather the second week of October in the pursuit of the ultimate species, Mr. Muskellunge. For the past 25 years the group has gathered at Lakewoods Resort in the scenic northwoods of Cable, Wisconsin. The fishing begins Friday dawn and ends Saturday sundown. Satuday evening the group celebrates at the beautiful banquet facility of Lakewoods Resort, and prizes are awarded.
In the Lake Namakagon area, there are many activities available for participants such as golf, bird watching, biking, sight seeing as well as enjoying the local dining establishments.
